Knoxville is only 2 hours away for me so I bet my trusty 2019 Jeep Cherokee could handle that trip! The crowding doesn’t sound too pleasant but I bet it’s worth it. YES!! GO VOLS!! And we’re taking on Chattanooga first so I think we got this!

@@Travsbookshelf McKays is really cool. I’m about 40 mins from it so it’s not to far for me. We go about 2-3 times a month. Yes GO VOLS!!! We are definitely winning tomorrow.

We call those long lines Disney World Line Simulators. It's good practice for amusement parks. Other than the lines, it sounded like a pretty fun day trip. Something different for sure.

@@AndrewsWizardlyReads it was a fun and hectic trip for sure and McKays is a pretty cool store. I’ve heard you and some other book tubers talk about 1/2 price books and I want to go so bad but the closest one to me is I think Nashville which is 3 hrs so maybe someday.

We had an antique mall promote a “dollar day“. Me and Wife decide “why not” show up 10 minutes before opening. The line is 50 people not bad go inside every aisle in the entire three story building is backed up with the checkout line. It was a literal death trap. I still don’t know how the fire department didn’t shut them down. You physically couldn’t enter the building.

Great video. How does the store credit work with them? Are you able to get a book 100% on credit or do they require you to purchase half of the books selling price with cash/card and then you can use credit or no? Seems like they would have gave away a ton of revenue with this marketing of their 50th.

@@kevintowle9665 credit is the same as cash and can be used on anything. I had heard that they gave away roughy 2 million in credit

@@RowdyPlayer1 last week, a employee at the Nashville store told me their store gave out over 15 million alone. I drove from 9 hours away just to start in mabane 😂 I had the best time. We only made it to mabane, and Chattanooga, which is where we got paid out.

@@britable Wow if 15 million is legit that is wild. The last I had heard was 2-3 million and that was 5 or 6 days after the road trip. I wish they would have come out and said. Did you get all $800 in credit?

@@RowdyPlayer1 Yes. We got the full payout and only went to 2 stores. We got the tshirts, but didn’t get any of the other free stuff, so we got an extra $50

@@britable that’s awesome!! Have you spent it all yet? I have seen where people spent all of there’s in one stop. I think we may have spent $200 so far
