@@Altmetall666 Well, I feel bad for the younger female fans that are usually shorter than the, until now, more common Band-Maid fan. At the New York and New Jersey shows, beside me were a couple of those girls. The one at the New Jersey show managed to get one of MISA's pick.

I don't know what the hell they are singing about, I don't speak Japanese, I just know I love them
This is gotta be one of the tightest live groups I've ever heard, and I've been into a variety of music and playing guitar since the late '80s. I had a roommate in college at Ohio State who worked at a music store they used to get comped 4 free tickets for every show at the Newport Theatre on campus so imagine the bands coming through and I've seen well over 100 shows. I recently saw Smashing Pumpkins and that sound was amazing, but they gotta have crazy money behind producing it. You can tell here it's pure talent here they don't have huge production or techs adjusting stuff in the background. Just straight guitar, amps pedals and drums, no technological wizardry with the sound. What rock and roll should be. And that BASS! Very impressed with this band, even though I feel kinda awkward being a 50 y/o dude and saying I'm infatuated with them lol. Anyway their talent is phenomenal! Great clip.
@mckeepa12 жыл бұрын
The Smashing Pumpkins were my favorite band growing up. I've seen them recently as well, and they sound way better now than they did in the 90s. Their extra guitarist makes a huge difference.

Always wear ear protection at a BAND-MAID show. 7:10 not only will it protect against high volume sound but also wet willy attacks from peeved pigeons. To be fair Kanami was asking for it.

Okay, so if anyone knows. I was in the balcony stage left, and when Saiki comes out, she pulls like something that looks like a cinnamon stick or pack of gum and puts her lips together on it like she's blotting her lipstick. Any ideas what this is? She did it like 5 times throughout the show. Just curious, never seen a singer do that. 1:55

Does anyone know the complete set list for the show? I missed a part of the show mid-way through because leg pain forced me to go find a place to sit down for a while. Searching YT, I found at least fifteen songs uploaded by fans, but Pat McKee's video above is the only one I can place in order.
