It is so nice down that way. Far out, that’s very interesting that you have family still taking cattle across. The crossing has a very long history for being used as a cattle crossing. Thanks for your reply. Cheers Tim.

If I ever visit Australia, I'll go to that bridge and take some pictures with a camera that uses 35mm film. The reason for using a film camera is that you can't beat the way the developed pictures evoke the feeling of being there. Digital photos are great, but they lack the soul that film pictures have. I don't know how to explain it, but you CAN tell the difference.
@timbates4wdadventures Жыл бұрын

The same thing happened to the Buccarumbi Bridge on the Nymboida River in Northern NSW. A big flood and a build up of logs destroyed it. I guess it may have been a common problem once upon a time.

I was there about 5 weeks ago, I have been there many times in 4x4, car, adventure bike and just love the hole country through all that area, currently heading back from QLD now going through NSW and in a week we will be back in the Victorian High Country, Victoria is the best place to still get 1,000's of free camping spots, most of the other states are just closing down bush tracks and camp spots everywhere 😞
