Not so much of a surprise, it got 770hp and 720nm of torque, compared to 570s which has 562hp and 600nm of torque. It's more fascinating that the 570s fought well

The McLaren delivers around 620 hp to the crank, runs a 2.7 0-60 mph with tires at temp, and I have seen it hit 215 mph. McLaren grossly understates performance. It easily runs a 10.1-10.3 quarter. The car eats most Ferrari's and Lambos. Launch control is one of the best in the world. The M838T engine is Indycar design and makes the 570S ballistic. The McLaren is under 3,000 pounds and the Lambo is almost 400 heavier.

Nice job by 570S, having owned one I can say that if that car gets traction it’s an absolute rocket even from a dig, most of the time depending on surface it does put the power down brilliantly. I traded that car for a 991.2 Turbo S like the car in the first race and the Porsche almost always finds perfect traction but past 80MPH the Mclaren pulled way harder the my 911 Turbo does

@MC Surprisingly problem free. In three years I've averaged about 6k per year and in that time I've had one check engine light that happened after a race with a 488 Pista and I was spanking it hard in track mode. The folks at Harwoods said it was a lambda issue and they fixed it with a software update to the ECU I had a leaky shock replaced and a bent suspension arm. All these were done under warranty. I will say, get the extended warranty. It's an extra £5k a year but it's peace of mind. In many ways I was pleasantly surprised with what a benign car it can be day to day.
