The NFS Pro Street sound is modded since by default stock McLaren F1 don't have a sound and the upgraded sound is the same from CCX. Also, the sound file that uses is actually from Criterion which first was used in NFS HP 2010.

The spoiler goes up on the McLaren F1 in the OG NFS 2 that's attention to detail in 1997 that NFS games didn't have in the early 2000's. The OG NFS games from the 90's are my favorite NFS games due to the attention of detail for their time. NFS hot pursuit 2010 brought back that attention to detail and fun factor.

It actually moves flaps up when braking. The p1 in rivals seems to always be on race mode. Which makes the most sense out of all of its appearances. In race mode the rear wing is always out for the most downforce possible.

The F1 sounds it's best in Hot Pursuit (2010), as well as the 12C. The 12C, though, brings me more PTSD than anything in Shift 2.

The F1 sounds accurate and the same sound file Black Box have taken from Criterion and used it in NFS World. But the sound of MP4-12C in NFS HP2010 is not even from McLaren MP4-12C - it is from Audi R8 4.2 Quattro (I mean they maybe partually have recorded the sound and they mixed with Audi R8 4.2 Quattro sound). NFS Rivals have more accurate MP4-12C and since the P1 also has 3.8L V8 it is no surprise that both sound indentical.

It is funny that the only Ferrari thing remained in the Black Box era till NFS UG2 - Carbon is the Ferrari 360 sound. In NFS UG2 was used in extreme upgrade of the Mazda RX-7/RX-8, Nissan Skyline, Toyota Supra/IS 300. While in NFS MW 2005/Carbon was used only for the extreme upgrade of the Mazda RX-8 and this sound was unused in NFS Pro Street/Undercover and I think in NFS World/The Run it doesn't even exist. But again I might have told this.
