As an engineer that designs these cars and works at McLaren HQ, I can tell you honestly, the only way to appreciate this is to go to the factory. Book a tour via the McLaren website. You wont be disappointed.

Everyone should appreciate the quality that came from Ron Dennis' obsession for perfection. It's kind of sad he left before his vision was fulfilled. But remember this company wouldn't be the McLaren people know today without him. Sadly he left right as they were becoming a serious manufacturer.

Andrew Baksota Well they somehow have to justify the price? Rolls Royce could possibly let robots do more than 50% of the production but they still make it by hand because otherwise people would notice an S class is way more luxurious and has better technology than a Rolls. People only buy RR because they‘re handmade and are somehow seen as the most luxurious vehicles by uninformed people.
