@@reaktivuk NASCAR is a dying sport and is possibly the worst US based sport you could reference. Last years season got a 2/5 rating and viewership is dwindling. F1 has always been a more “proper” sport than NASCAR with less crashes, less publicized conflicts and no fights. NASCAR loves crashes and there are several fists out fights each year. They don’t need to dramatize it, F1 does.

F1 is a very proper sport compared to NASCAR. Drivers are even expected to hold their tongue on the radio while racing… Tsunodo. You sure you’re not new to F1?

@@castronator29 i've been watching f1 since senna was still alive. i've watched my fair share of reality shows and know exactly how dramatic editing works - in fact, i've taken part in studies on the subject. none of their behavior looks remotely concerning, but certain people online seem to think that just because they're not all over each other as in carlando days or because netflix slapped some dramatic music on top of a 10-second dialogue it means that they despise each other. it's no big deal. and if they do hate each other... well they're both adult men, they should be able to figure out how to deal with it in a professional manner.

I love Daniel. He really just makes everything better and tries to find the positive out of everything. I’ve noticed since he joined Mclaren they have gotten a huge fan base increase and we’re voted favourite team a few months ago. They have also gained a huge amount of followers on social media. The duo works and fans love it and it’s a great friendship. I hope Daniel is feeling better and is part of the team for many years to come.

I won't deny Daniel makes everything better and the situation a lot more jolly, but let's be honest. Mclaren started getting popular amongst the youth even before Daniel joined. It was landos vlogging/twitch side of the things that got mclaren fame amongst the youth, and the Carlos' shenanigans that made their duo so perfect. Mclaren was on the up and up since 19' season, and 20' really saw them give their best in a decade. But no doubt Daniel is going to eventually help take this team to the next level

@@buzzfightbeer8023 Both right and wrong. It's not like they were anything near being on each other's throat, but they weren't really as "gentle" and playful either, compared to as they are now. You could clearly sense some tension or something like it, between the 2 in the beginning, and even like passed the first half of the season. As time went on, they loosened up more and more, even stopped with the jokes that seemed like they were just trying to be mean to each other.

Tbf they are on camera. Yes Netflix overdramatises things but this is months in the past, back then I can assure you it was a big deal especially for Daniel and not something to laugh about. They can be chill for these videos and during off season but between all teammates, no matter how close they might appear, I can guarantee you there’s tension during the season at some points
