Yes you can use Zinc Sulphate as long as the specific gravity is correct.

No parasite eggs will float in water so always use a solution (there are many types) with a higher density than the parasite you are looking for.

Mohamed as you can see from the video we use water at the start to make a faecal suspension and then use NaCl to float any parasite eggs.

Thank you nice vedio but i have two question - can i use this method for egg nematode in soil sample? Please write me in details why you multiply by 50, i try to calculate for 1 gram sample result was = 7×45/0.15 then divide by 3 to get for 1 gram

Fuzz Zeballs bcs factory that make these are small scaled, so the product is pricier Like a test tube it is mass produced by huge factory so the products are cheaper Plus, the mcmaster isn’t versatile used like test tube, so low demand
