Thank you @MCOC NOOB. You do a good job. with tagged hero being the superiority:paragon Kitty Pryde is great for the path. Add Tigra and KP destroys it. Elsa is good as well. Also Nick Fury with the Quake synergy can help give protection for missed intercepts.

I just completed this . I took special attack to block node path and it was easy but that herc boss was difficult for me. I played with doom and got smacked. Herc fight brought out my best plays because I was at 15% and herc was still 60% .

the thing ive really noticed with 8.1 is how the AI is smart and evolves based on the nodes. when you need them to block, they dont. when you need them to attack so you can intercept, they hold block. annoying.

I find its not just noded its even champ strategy as well especially parry heavy champs the ai wont let you parry it will just stay away the worst i find is using hulkling and valkyrie it just wont let me hit into block and push me to sp3

one word: HERC. Herc goes absolutely brrrr on this path, just keep intercepting and they will die so quick. Brought Kitty, Tigra, Doom & Heimdall just in case but my maxed 5* cleared the entire path.. including the Herc boss! I soloed Herc with Herc, no trouble at all, I just keep punishing his specials with heavies to get the protection off.

If anyone has fantman, get him to 6 armours and then it makes the enemy aggressive so you can just intercept the whole fight without worrying abt their power and they will just melt

Late addition, but i found warlock to be a great option for this path as well. His infection stops healing, will power drain and you're a hero. You can just corner intercept once you get to the opponent to 0 power and it'll be easy. Since you're a robot you can also hit into block freely without worrying about petrify if you run suicides

IMPORTANT: Superiority is now based on being a hero champion, not class advantage. Meaning you can use pretty much any champ that’s a hero if you’re good at intercepting. Champs like doom will still work but they will not get any petrify and fights will just be very long. Keep cycling sp3s till death.

When I attempted completion on this quest I soloed the Daredevil H.K. boss fight easily with an unawakened Scorpion, he’s surprisingly great for the fight, the burst damage is insane.

Intercepts are so hard to do. Most of the time, I get slammed in the face when I try to intercept.

An extremely effective counter to spite you can bring is a science champ with Spidey 2099 relic, I personally used Spider-Gwen with the relic and the whole path was done quite effectively! The relic doesn't allow the champ to gain the dex buff and puts Wither on the opponent instead, hence countering Spite node

For those who don't have a good petrify science roster, you could use any good blockers to complete path 2.2 with ease. Also I personally found the daredevil boss, much easier than the herc boss

Herc cheeses the path. Infinite intercepts😂 because of oponents reaching zero power when you place a petrify passive and it reverses the power gain. Pro tip for new people here.

This Act name is "Without a Doubt" and I'm doubtful of myself. Even this easy path I can't play well and Black Blot eat up my Longshot easily. I retried 3 times and finally still need one team revive for that, due to Yondu and KG. Relatively the Herc boss is easier as I used G2099 and ignore his final 5%. Thanks for this guide esp I'm not very familiar with Mr. Fantastic. He is pretty useful after seeing your vids and I bring my 5r4 for that.

Because this is far from the easiest path. The path with gray Deadpool is one of the easiest paths I have ever seen in the Story Acts and was a total breeze.

I'm not sure this was the easiest path. I read through the nodes, decided to do the Splash Zone path that starts with gray Deadpool, and it was one of the easiest paths I have EVER played in any of these Story Acts. You literally just have to stand there and let the enemy throw specials into your block, and watch it kill them. My champs barely lost any health at all on this path. Then, looking at the boss nodes, I thought Daredevil sounded easier than Hercules. And he was fairly easy. You just have to keep hitting him with specials, and they give him extra damage beyond what a normal champ takes. And, as you do that, just watch his Unstoppable counter, and back off during his Unstoppable times. It took a few champs to get him down, but since the path was so easy I barely lost any health, I was able to complete the path and the boss without needing any revives. No particular champ counters were needed either, everyone was able to work and do damage.

I went with the cosmic attacker path... Using Knull vs Pun2099, 3 times my game completely froze... Exited out, went back in with CGR, no problems... Someone on the forum experienced the same thing/same path with Knull vs G2099

Hercules fight was pretty fun with kitty pride and her sp2 damage I would Hercules is a great option for this path just because with the infuriate you can stack up so much petrifies before 1 bar of power

G2099 is also an amazing option for Hercules. You don't have to worry about unblockble and after ramping up she melts Hercules even with protection on. Took me 250 hits with 5* maxed G99 but it becomes really easy fight.

Yeah, I always read the nodes before assuming this is the true "easy path." The Splash Zone path with gray Deadpool and the Daredevil boss sounded easier to me, and they definitely were! No revives needed at all to complete that run.

My attack teams- Elsa Bloodstone when she gains the evade charge on her, her parry will intercept easily, her sig ability good against XL/L/Science champs. Herc with intercepts, Human Torch against Dragon with prefights on, kitty pryde against Daredevil, use sp2 with 10 prowess= instant kill. Good luck.

For anyone watching in 2024, the punisher 2099 path is easily cheesable with cgr, just light hit at the start of the fight into sp2 rotation, gets the fight done in a short time. For the havok and nightcrawler I used howard the duck, just parry heavy and do sp2 or sp3 when you have a lot of furys. Daredevil HK is an easy boss imo, I brought in apocalypse with mister sinister synergy, all you do is build up to an sp2 and use it and like 30% of his health disappears so rinse and repeat until hes down, with 4 prowess passives the unstoppable only last 3 seconds so just wait it out. Remember that daredevil will still purify the parry stun since the node gives him 200% increased ability accuracy
