I heard this song back in 2003, it was an MP3 with no name or artist metadata. 21yrs later I found this while going through an old hard drive. Did a google song search and I'm here. You have no idea how good it feels to finally put a name to this unknown MP3 instrumental that has been sitting in my HDD for all these years. BTW your song was on a regular rotation of a my mixed instrumental CD in my car along with Artists like Vai, Satch, Marty and Jason Becker. Rock on Man. 😁

Ik kocht Guitartalk in 2003 , toen had de CD er een leuke DVD bij. Inner Alchemy was gelijk mijn favoriete nummer. Wat mooi, en met zoveel gevoel gespeeld. Maar deze uitvoering klinkt nog beter. Naar mijn mening kan Marcel zich met gemak meten met Govan, Gilbert, Vai, Morse of zelfs Shawn Lane.

Guitartalk is one of the best albums ever. Marcel is an outstanding composer and I can't understand how Sun Caged never got the recognition they deserved. All their albums are extraordinary, the first group member formation was a dream team. I wish Marcel, Joost, Rob and Dennis could start over again and bring Paul on the vocals.

Briljante gitarist. Ongekend niveau en second to none. Vroeger met Peter Timpe vaker naar hem gaan kijken en toen dacht ik al beter gaat niet maar hij maakt progressie keer op keer tot een level wat voor mij onbekend was en in mijn bescheiden mening door geen andere gitarist ter wereld te evenaren is of word. 15-20 years ago I was a kid trying to play first scales on some shitty, tuneless strat. Now, I'm sitting in my office, with my Ibby's J. Customs, UV, Jems and some other dream guitars hanging on the wall. The only thing that didn't changed is that I'm still listening to this SUPERGUY. I love that and "Shoreline" is still one of the best tunes I've heard in my whole live.

Sweet! What do you think of this guitar? Is it as versitile as the G280 you reviewed? Or is this more a "metal only" and "good lead solo" guitar? I can't decide what to get but I really need a guitar with tremolo/floyd or such since I've been stuck with my aria pro II since the beginning of time. Lol! Was thinking about a charvel or a jackson, but then I found this video... XD

Can someone please explain a bit about that sweep on 2:03 What chord shape is that? I think it sounds like an A-chord shape but looks a bit like C-shape (with maybe some D-shape on the higher strings).
