Fps test is wrong. Application you used for fps does not measure correct. In pojav use debug menu. In pocket edition use markers v2 resource pack for fps and other uses.

I always use the pojav (with all mods) and also it is very smooth but in my opinion the Minecraft (pocket edition) it is better because the pocket edition is original also you will get a primium in pojav its cracked even though it work very nice afyer adding mods but in my opinion for mobile the minecraft pe is better the java is for the pc so when we will get the pc that will be another level!
