Matt. Great walkthroughs and overviews. I've been a big fan since your days with dubspot and your maschine 1.0 tutorials.I just received my komplete 11 upgrade last week and these walkthroughs are perfect. I haven't installed it yet since I'm waiting on word from support about komplete 11 playing nicely with komplete 7. I just spent over a week setting up my older music gear and software (kore and maschine 1) and after all that trouble shooting to get everything working I don't want to undo everything. Lol. I'm excited for these new toys but really want kore to still work. Komplete kontrol is getting better but they took a step backwards imho. No layering or morphing of sounds.browsing has a bit of a different focus as well. I just discovered I can create an instance of komplete kontrol in kore so that will give me some access to new komplete sounds in kore as well. Best of both worlds. Thanks for these awesome walkthroughs and tutorials!

+umanoid thanks for the support. I too was hoping for and expecting more of Kore's functionality in Komplete Kontrol. I haven't busted Kore out in awhile but might have to again.

Its a HUGE pain in the butt to get Kore working since they abandoned the ksd format. You also have to deal with older/ software just so it works. I stopped using it initially because it was too unstable and didn't send controlller info to LIVE (huge oversight NI) but they eventually added it in Kore 2. Now it works like a charm. GREAT for sound design. I believe NI will end up back where they started with Kore in komplete kontrol. Every rev seems to add more of that Kore Funk.

This looks pretty great for $100. Might have to get this for my birthday. It probably works great for pads which is what I'm looking for too. I feel like it's similar to Serum but the sample stays more true to its original form.

Matt - good explanator. But it's one of those videos where they quite soon get harsh noise sound and explain things based on harsh noise which is under-representing the plugin abilities. Only in the end is too short example of work on pluck....

Love this video...really great bro! I have a question I'm just to buy this program to do a advertisement studio but I didn't know if I can really use it like other recording programs I'm been using like logic, do you think this program is perfect for advertisement, film sound, live recording instruments...this kind of jobs? I apreciarte your point of view.

hey matt do you know who is the creator of FORM?? is it the NI Team Or just one guy
@MattCellittiMusicTutorials8 жыл бұрын
N/N it's always a team effort but the lead developer was Jonathan Heppner. Make sure to click on the word FORM in the top left corner to see who contributed. That works on any NI product btw
