I don't think Agatha was emotionally crippling Wanda per se, she was genuinely trying to nudge Wanda out of the fantasy. Agatha said it herself while she was moving Wanda along through her memories, "it's good medicine." Her motivation for doing so seemed evil and self centered of course. If / when we see her again it might not be as a villain because in the comics, Agatha is a magical mentor to both Wanda and Billy, and is also the nanny of Reed and Sue Richards' (of the Fantastic Four) baby Franklin
