I wish they would have gave him a side arm or even just a knife. What does he do once he runs out of armaments?! Also, the no straps backpack does bug me a little, but not as much as missing side arm. Same with Breaker and the RAM, like Breaker could lift that gattling gun! Dude needed a pistol and so does Bazooka.

I found this guy over the weekend at my local Target. His jersey, with the orange and blue strikes me as Chicago Bears away jersey-esque. While Bazooka is from Minnesota, he looks like he'd be a Bears fan. He also just looks like he's fueled by beer and bratwurst.

It does look like he’s be a Bears fan. The classic look is the red white and blue jersey of the New England Patriots. That makes sense for America’s elite fighting force. I’m sure they skewed orange in this version to fit Tiger Force look. It almost have been cool if they went full Cincinnati Bengals for the look but I’m sure it’s skirting the edge so as to not have NFL royalties to pay.

I think one of the designers in the last gi joe live stream said that his Jersey is part of the new england lore or something like that. I agree that maybe the colors were designed to fit with the tiger force motive, not to belong to a specific NFL team hahaha, but it is funny to do it.

I'm digging this figure.. yup you're right, a friend of mine (whom not a Joe fan) saw that figure displayed and pointed me out about the backpack, he felt weird that the backpack just glued on its back like that without any straps... (Also he asking me since when Freddie Mercury joined the Joe? lol)

They’re planning on releasing that version later this year. They announced it I believe at their HasCon event last year.

You can store the bazooka under the backpack by placing the strap under the hooks under the backpack.👌
