Sam only got the goatee as Cap recently to sync up with the MCU version. Hasbro just reused the old Sam Cap head which didn't have a goatee.

I have a suggestion on how to fix the backpack. Figures are made with thermoplastic. If you heat up the peg and press it in towards the backpack, it may help widen it back close to its original shape.

I got the og 3 pack, I was 9-10 back then so the box is gone, I remember getting it around the time toys r us closed, good times.

Just dab some hot glue with a glue gun onto the tip of the backpack, let it dry enough that it's not liquid anymore, but don't let it dry completely, once it becomes semi-solid, push it into the hole on the back and let it dry completely there, then pull it out and it should have dried to the shape of the hole... if when you pull it out it separates from the peg on the backpack, just superglue the dried "glue gun glue" back onto the peg so it stays put permanently, and viola, you have a nice new snug sleeve on the peg that will hold the friction again.

Dan Who tried putting the backpack into the old figure and it was loose too. 8:40 Would've been nice if they painted the front of the elbow hinges like they did on the old one. 9:27 And also the inside parts of the upper arms, with the ridges, gray to match the gray that's under the arms. 12:03 Like they did for that Cap.

From what I've been able to see, Sam Wilson didn't switch to that new shield design until just recently in the comics, so both releases are accurate to different eras. (I haven't read any comics from the 2010s to present, only from the 60s to 2009, so I'm not too familiar with this Captain America).

Really dig this figure. I want a Cap display with all three "real" Caps, and I wasn't gonna track down the old Sam Cap. Plus, this way, Sam can have a shield without there being duplicates. (I give Bucky Cap's to 20th Anniversary Steve and have him use a gun and knife.)

A god awful figure for a god awful character. He was better before he took up the shield in the movies buck should’ve gotten the shield. The falcon and the winter soldier was terrible

Bucky has a history of assassinating innocent people, which automatically makes him unqualified to be Captain America; even though he did so while brainwashed by Hydra, the optics of this part of his history are terrible. Additionally, the brainwashing has made him mentally unstable. On the other hand, Sam Wilson has always been depicted as sharing the same moral values as Steve and he doesn't have a dark history like Bucky. So, Sam is the better candidate for Captain America.

Theirs pleanty of issues .. The back Pack? Staying on? Is NOT one a mine. In fact? That , IS mines best feature. As a stopMo guy? Im able to hold him by individual wings to keep my hands out pics. Not once! Did it even loosen. So? Not sure...but? Seems to be something your batch of figure is experiencing. Now? No rifles...pistols..or machine guns ? Is a Way bigger issue man. What is he gona fight with? His red glasses? 😂
