Pretty much the entire Mcusta lineup is overlooked. They're great in hand, great looking, light weight and doesn't scare non-knife people as they're pretty. However they are envelope and tape knives, even cardboard has taken my MC-41C down. Oh yes, and quite a few tip down only :(

They run there vg10 much harder then spyderco. It has really good edge retention in my cutting tests

I love this knife, I have two of them. The burlwood Damascus and the corian. It's a true gentleman's knife.

I am so glad you got your hands on this too review. I've always had this one on my list to get. The thumb stud on this is identical to my EDC Tangram Santa Fe.

Mcusta makes some beautiful knives.. That's one I'd like to get... I have the Stingray which is pretty hard to find.. The place or two I see them is always out of stock.. I've seen two for sale for $240 and $290... The knife uses a real stingray skin inlay so it's probably not real PC in the US.. Mine is aluminum and uses the thumbstuds for blade stops.. The Teflon washers hold in oil and make the knife super smooth.. They make a lot of clad VG10 blades.. I don't like clad blades and it makes no sense to clad VG10....Good Review

Let me start by saying, that I love my Tactility (I have the plain VG10+Micarta version) But I really have to say, that the quality is honestly not that great. It's not bad at all, but not something I'd bring up as one of the strong points of the knife. The whole knife has a sort of roughness to it. Not enough to be an issue, but more than enough to notice. The edges could be more rounded, the opening could be smoother, the screws could be nicer, it had some lock stick out of the box... If I put it next to my Real Steel G3 lightweight it just feels cheaper (while costing much more) My other Mcusta, the Oda Nobunaga (same blade, different handle) was even worse, the action was stiff, and the lock stick was so strong, that I had to pry it open more than once.

Mátyás Türk same experience. I wanted to get three or four of their designs but after two with bad quality I stopped.

I agree... It's beautiful, but it seems rough. They need a non-spinning pivot, or at least screw heads on both sides. They need to use real Torx fasteners throughout, not their poor attempt at Torx. They need to polish all the metal edges.

Cool video wish that pocket clip was on the Mcuta katana that clip is too tight and can't be carried while wearing denim.

I just received this knife as a gift! So nice but I was trying to either change out my thumb stud or the screws. Any suggestions on where to find or what to use? I thoight with this knife having been out for so long it would have custom options but I can't seem to find any.

Your cold steel really need some good polishing. Use a good car polish and u will be better off with that dirty looking dlc look with a polished shiny dlc which looks amazing. Try it.
