We ended up with one of those rally cars in our garden that year on the Edrom stage! Everyone was okay! It was caught by the SRC camera but wondered if it was on this reel. Great footage!

Just an ordinary commute to work for some of us, amazing how far a Vectra estate can fly when you're late for work in Duns.

Time to ban spectators from yumps at Jim Clark... To many cars catapulting off at them.
@aussietruckphotosandmodels85102 жыл бұрын
There's to much banning things now, people should be free to make up their own mind. They should be free to make their decision on where they wanted to view the action from..... Put up different coloured bunting. yellow for general viewing, red for danger zones, then let people make up their own mind. Rallying and hill climb are almost gone in Australia because spectators just don't come back as they were/are all corralled onto one hill top about half a k from the track. It's hard enough to get sponsors now, but when no one turns up to watch, it'll all be over.
