Alivebur acknowledged his past mistakes, his actions for things he had done at the DSMP. Ok outside of AU, I have to believe and agree that everything (not entirely everything) is all caused by Wilbur. He was the one who started it, Tommy may be a part of it but I think it's mainly Wilbur (Tommy's a child, he didn't know better). Though Dream did say that he doesn't care about L'Manburg, but.... I think he only started to care less about it after Tubbo became a new president (Around those time when he started to destroy all his attachments). He actually did care about L'Manburg, he gave them independence after getting the disks even though he knew he could fool them to get what he wanted and wouldn't give them their independence yet he didn't. He also fought and sided with Wilbur and Tommy to get L'Manburg back since he knew Jschlatt is ambitious and he hated Manburg (Tho ofc he betrayed them and joined Jschlatt side because of the book but I think there gotta be a good reason for that? Maybe?). But yeah, Dream did end up grown attached to L'Manburg but over times he started to change, grew hungry for power to control the whole server and doesn't care for L'Manburg anymore.
