wow yeah I forgot about this. Yeah that was brilliantly done. He knew the ultra + the dp was enough but not just the ultra and maybe he didnt have the recovery frames to jump but only block it? Most normal players would never ever think or execute that correctly. Daigo seems to always know every option and when to do it, and correctly execute it.

Some of the shit talkers I feel just don't understand SF period. Louffy played well, ya he got 3-0 here but each match was close and could of gone either way. At evo he just got really hot and it was no fluke he won, it was well deserved. At the highest level, the skill level and yomi is not that far apart between players. No single player have every dominated SF4 for an extended period of time except for maybe infiltration in 2012. Daigo won evo at 09 and 10, but he didn't win a single tournament in japan during that time. People got to stop nut riding on certain players and just accept there are good players everywhere and just enjoy SF. peace.

Or maybe in the 8 months since this match Louffy improved his gameplay alot in addition to the buffs and became the Evo champ? I don't think a character buff alone would explain why Louffy has OVER DOUBLE the number of points on the Capcom Pro Tour compared to the next closest competitor. And if the buffs were so good, why hasn't there been more great Rose players since?

99superjesus And how many of those new Rose players are even half as good as Louffy? Even some guys like Fillipinoman who plays Rose all the time isn't anywhere near as good as Louffy. Just like all those Evil Ryu players aren't close to being as good as Diago or the vast majority of Sagat players are nowhere near Bonchan. Having a good character is one thing, but using them to their full potential only ever happens with the elite players or else plenty of people would be winning major tournaments.

This one was very tight for a 3-0. I have a lot of respect for Louffy. He is not a pro player imagine what he could do if he practiced as much as the best Japanese player. He already beats top 10 players and Evo champions pretty often.

Madcatz pays him the plane tickets but he makes no actual money. Louffy has an actual job he gets up to go to everyday, unlike Daigo, Tokido, Infiltration, Xian and all of the guys I'm talking about. He can not play half as much as these guys.
