Teaching a student band to play their own Chapels from scratch. Love sharing vids like this on theory and technique days. Thanks so much for this content!

Nice reprise. Though, at my church when moments like this happen we usually circle back to “I Thank God”‘s bridge - get up outta that grave. Because it repeats enough to go into the chorus and then we end it off there. 🎸

Oh totally - great song choice. As you can see in this video, it was all very quick and spontaneous and hopefully you can see some of my thought process 🙏

P.S. I have an MD Cam video of I Thank God on my channel, would love to know what your thoughts are on it! 🎉

Does your team know Nashville numbers? Calling chord names work but in the instance of capos an A wouldn't be an A for an acoustic guitar capo-ing on 2. Calling 1/b7/4 is universal no matter what key you're playing in. Yall are killing it! 🔥

I am a HUGE fan of the Nashville numbers. I'd say it's the biggest thing we lack. Completely agree with you - there is an extra step for the capo'd guitarists when I called "A G D A", and I long for the day I can call "1 b7 4 1". Thanks for your comment :)) feel free to subscribe if this type of content is your cup of tea 😊
