MD - ESEF visited 02 remote and inaccessible 'Girls Community Schools ( GCS ) - A Non-Formal Educational School - located at Daari Jazeera ( Small Island ) across Tarbela Lake ( Haripur ) established by ESEF a year back to address the challenge of " Out of schools children (OOSC) ".
"Education is a fundamental right, and it's crucial that we reach out to every child, regardless of their location," MD - ESEF ( Khawaja Faheem Sajjad ) stated. "Non-formal education plays a vital role in ensuring that no child is left behind."
During the visit, the MD interacted with students, teachers, and community leaders to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by the GCS due to inaccessibility.
The visit also served as an opportunity for the MD to announce ESEF plans to support the GCS further through specific initiatives, such as infrastructure, learning material and teaching methodology.
These initiatives aim to enhance the school's capacity to provide basic education and expand its reach to more children in the region by challenging the challenges of inaccessibility .
By such visit MD-ESEF has demonstrated commitment to social justice and educational equity. The visit also underscores the importance of non-formal education as a viable solution for addressing the educational needs of marginalized communities.
