So from my understanding, the Mayakashi essentially act like a Synchro ladder, where you constant Synchro summon again and again til you reach the point of Link summoning Yuki-Onna. Then, as each gets the destroyed, you climb back down the ladder.

I placed Nine tailed fox in my deck as a place holder while I completed my deck, it was when someone pulled a Crush Card virus on me that Nine tailed fox saved me and allowed me to Synchro summon.

One recommendation is "Back to the front", its pretty much Call of the Haunted but it puts the monster in defense instead of attack and you still get the summon if your opponent chains a card that can pop it unlike Call

Just wait for another turn. (Almost all main deck Mayakashi monsters having a restriction that only Mayakashi can be special summon from extra deck)

I saw eldlich player using 3 reasoning and 3 evenly matched today. He banish my whole field with evenly matched and setting 4 cards, his grave is full of resources too. So I ended up surrender.... And yeah, reasoning is very good for milling, i will use it in my shiranui deck.

This deck seems fairly cheap man, same with shiranuis, I'm not sure but I think the game gives you some of both Mayakashi and shiranui cards for free, also, would suggest you to craft a competitive deck first then go for funsies ones, look for budget builds here in yt or check master duel meta webpage for some sample builds Ps: If you go all out, craft the staples first, at least 2 copies, then craft your deck's main cards.

Ok, took some time to read the effects of the non DL cards and I'm impresed by Hajun... goddamn is't that a 1 card link 2 + lvl 11 on gy? (not to mention Yuki-Musume on hand or... GY? Is Foolish burial banned?), and I didn't knew about Fateful Hour... while slow it can be pretty handy for any deck My impresion is that this deck (Key word) looks surprisingly easy to handle, as you go all in with your zombies, and keep coming and coming until oponnent is defeated, while managing your banished and specially GY zones to deal with troublesome monsters with Yoko's effect (Doesn't target? Didn't noticed that before) By far favorite moment was 17:24, as getting trough those stupid floodgates that Maju players uses leaves them open to "flex" your deck building... May you share your ID to follow you? I'm interested on a Zombie, combo oriented deck, at least to test the waters, so who knows, maybe I learn more while watching your videos

You should give Eldlich Mayakashi a try. It's pretty good. It'll be ever better then link 3 Yuki comes to duel links. Of course you'll always have Golden Lord and an Edlixir or Golden Land on the field. You can send your own Mayakashi Winter to the grave using Eldlich's effect in the hand and in the graveyard. When link 3 Yuki comes out do this: Hajun+Dakki make lvl 3 synchro, lvl 5, lvl 7, lvl 9, lvl 11, link 2, link 3, link 4, then activate link 3 Yuki's effect to bring back any 1 zombie synchro from the graveyard or banished. Eldlich cards are also so good to trigger Yuki link 4's effect. For example during your opponents turn activate Eldlixir of Back Awakening and brink back Yoko from the grave to pop a card then activate Yuki's effect. Don't forget Eldlich has to be on the field to special summon other zombie monsters with Eldlixirs.

Kinda wish mayakashi were able to have a back and forth game like the video in the real world. I started playing YGO last May, and my first deck was mayakashi, I build mayakashi because I love their lore. But when I duel with other player, it's pretty bad cause they're too weak against handtrap. And I also found out that meta deck are too... boring. I mean, I wish both player can get to do their things, but meta decks always ends within 2 turns most of the time due to multiple negates, and powerful otk.
