MDCAT 2021 || My personal experience | *live reaction of mcat result || pmc drama || Mahrosh umrani

🛑 Read this 🛑
This whole melodrama of PMC started last year in October when UHS was about to conduct MDCAT. Almost everyone had prepared UHS syllabus. All PMC wanted was to conduct a SINGLE NATIONAL MDCAT from SAME SYLLABUS. First of all, they enhanced the syllabus (Mainly Sindh board and some other boards students didn't had many topics in their curriculum) So, a bunch of students filed case on PMC in LHC,as a result PMC cunningly reduced syllabus. Then again PMC was not a legal council, two people were trying to fool 1.5 lac students.
So, students from Sindh board again filed case on PMC in SHC for two main reasons.
1)PMC was not legal since they didn't had a proper council and structured functional body.
2)Wanted common topics as syllabus from all boards curriculum.
Just 2 days before NMDCAT, it was delayed on 11 November so that PMC could form a council. And for the second, they cajoled if there will be any question out of syllabus,students can come up for a case.
Just because VP of PMC wanted to conduct NMDCAT as soon as possible the gave a date 29 November when COVID-19 was on it's peak. Every institute got closed on 24 November there was a lockdown in AJK despite of that they were determined to conduct MDCAT on same date. Some students were covid + and many of them were covid carriers. Students asked help on every platform, arranged protest , hunger strikes , still PMC changing their own policy said we will conduct another mdcat for the Co+ student on 13 December. 14 questions were out of syllabus so they promised to give grace marks which was a BLUFF! On the result day, some students were not in gazette plus more than half of population was not satisfied with their result so they applied for recheck. But rechecking was also nominal. Such a betrayal 🙂 This was not enough. So, now for this year, PMC increased registration fee to 6,000 RS (Not affordable for poor people of Pakistan) and then different tests on different dates. Wow!
JUST A BIG WOAH! Like what was a purpose of PMC except single MDCAT.
They are causing distress to students. 95% wrong questions/out of syllabus questions/wrong options/same options. Completely maltreating cream of Pakistan.A cordial congratulations to you if you've scored good in MDCAT luckily because your test was not out of given syllabus. But,Having seen my friends suffer due to incompetency of PMC is really heartbreaking. How is it even possible to fail after studying days and nights 2nd and 3rd time 🤷🏻‍♀️ This council has literally collapsed mental health of brilliant students 😤 , how students face their family, specially relatives. They don't know how people look down upon MDCAT Aspirants, how students tolerate those laughs and destructive criticism. 😓
I feel so sorry for this society and system.
Keep trying,trying and trying, have faith in Allah's blessing, He will do miracles.

It's been 2 months since the result has been declared and I've been healing from my failure since then. Had the same story as yours. Been an over achiever and been at the top of my game. Watching you tear up after your results has unintentionally triggered those emotions and negative trail of thoughts YET AGAIN . And tbh, I cried watching you cry. But I think this is what I thought when in 2020 I got only 133 outta 200, I thought the same, like this is my 100percent I can't work more than this and I'm not taking a gap year, but dude I did take a gap year and finally got admission in 2021 so you don't know anything!

Yes u r right....But generally in 1st attempt a student does many mistakes and then he realizes his mistakes and go for a 2nd attempt and try not to repeat these mistakes or he realizes that mine these topics were weak from where he did wrong mcqs .....I am fresher and could not get admission this year and also going to take gap year bkz I realized my mistakes and learned a lot from these and going for 2nd attempt by not repeating them.....But those lines "Take gap year........." are especially beneficial for those students who are repeaters and who don't realize any mistake in their exam and don't think so that there was a little bit mistake in their hard work and devotion , then they should think that this field is not for them and Allah has planned a better for them😊

Even in the same shift there were different tests, everybody got different test questions some got easier and some got the worst, No difficulty level maintained, questions were repeating just like it was some facebook comment section not an Mdcat, really appreciate your courage to speak against this the way you explained everything hats off ❤️

Exact same scene I was a fresher and worked really hard for mdcat and it was completely my choice to give it, no family pressure but failed. I literally couldn't accept it but eventually I had started thinking about other fields and in the post exam analysis I was given 140 marks. These marks are still not mine because I know I deserve much more than these and I literally can't get admission in any public medical college. I'm thinking of gap year but still not sure as unfortunately pmc will hold the next mdcat as well :/ More power to you for moving on IA you will be the best in your field ❤️❤️

I didn't get good percentage in my inter or I say I didn't get what I deserved but alhamdolilah I got admission in a really good university. But I am feeling like a failure and had alot of negative thoughts I still have not gonna lie and thought to repeat my 2nd year but my parents told me not do this. So now I got admission in ziauddin for biotechnology. Wish me luck, I don't wanna disappoint my parents again. But ty for this video I feel alot better now.

Just found this video right now and I've gotta say this one thing, YOU ARE SO BRAVE GIRL! And THANK YOU for bringing up and talking on a topic that literally made more than 50% mdcat aspirants heart broken. I also agree to the point you made about the injustice with students of Sindh board (I'm one of them too). I know I didn't put in my 100% (say 80% or more) but one thing I know, I WON'T take the gap year, cause probably this same pmc is gonna host mdcat the next year as well and I don't want to be a part of a devilish system who's only concern is to get paid more and more and play with someone else's future and minds so effortlessly. To this date, i had not much interest or idea about going in the english field (even though im an occasional english writer), I'll try and avail the opportunity if I'm granted it, after trying one last time to be able to study MBBS abroad or something. Sending much love to you and all the hard working fellow students out there. (Remember time and nature is a witness how hard you've tried, how many times you thought you failed, you cried and felt heartbroken and alone, but you got up, and decided to get back at it again, dear fellow students. There are infinite factors that lead to an outcome, some of which you do have control over and some of these you don't even know of. Really glad to see that you overcame this crucial time period and moved forward. Jaha tk rahi baat kisi bhi field k scope k tou mujhy apny sir ki ek baat yaad ai when I was going for my bachelors my teacher told me "Scope kisi field ka nahi hota scope bandy ka hota hai" uss wqt tou ye baat samjh mai nahi thi ai but now after getting a degree from from one of Pakistan's most prestigious university in the most competitive field aj un sir ki baat samjh mai ai hai. If you are the right person at the right spot tou phir apka scope hai. If you are really passionate for MBBS then I would suggest you to give it another try but keep your BS English in parallel . I also had same feeling when i opened my result on 18 September....i got 145 and i cried so bitterly so loudly that i had a severe headache and this stress got on to my digestive system that i had loose stools for about two weeks and i couldn't get out this depression...after post exam analysis i got 161 which was not a good score...after going thru lot of cries and headaches now I'm gonna repeat mdcat again.....pray for me and all other aspirants 🙏

The paper was soo easy and i had done my very best and i am very sure about my result but when i came home and saw my result. In 22 Nov hearing of isl court. Ali raza said they have given 6k mcqs for post analysis because they were being used in whole mdcat test. Wt heck? In 30 days 2 test were conducted on daily base. Means 400 mcqs are required for one day. Are they are just using 6k?

Go for BS in phsycology and then do masters in english or clinical phsycology. If i were u i would have done that but I'm a boy my parents aren't allowing me to do LLB so phsycology no chance. Go for it girl you'll definitely get it.

Pmc is not only playing with the students of mdcat its also playing with the careers of students in Mbbs...This system isnt fair and no hopes should be attached to it...All we can pray is that Imran khans government looses the next elections and the next gov brings back pmdc...Also in Pak mbbs has been so glamourized that every other student is dying to get an admission in it..Trust me I am an mbbs final year student and over the years ive found out how the system crushes you when you get out of the college and there are litterally no oppurtunities and jobs paying you for the hardwork you did...Its so bad that even to get a seat in post grad you have to have some kind of refferal otherwise there is no hope for you...That is why most of us choose to leave pakistan and thats what ive decided too... ill be working my butt off there but atleast ill have a system which isnt corrupt.

Very true. Paper is 90% from ptb and the rest from federal. That's why punjab students got exceptional results and the rest of the students suffered. Syllabus conformity in Pakistan is consequential.

@@abdullahtariq2032 LoL I am a Punjab student. I neither affirm nor deny it. Coz this is not entirely tirely true. You r right about the bulk which is from Punjab but it is the easier part which is also from the common syllabus btw all boards. Furthermore I can assure you about almost 50 questions which were absolutely not from Punjab board. A minority was from Sindh and other boards as well. Normally attempt koi bhi ni kar sakta. Lekin woh thoray repeated that to dosray board Kay aik ya do oft repeated topics parh liyay thay.eg aids from Sindh board. Baki excessive detailed study bohat faida daitee hai. Lekin at the end of the day marks Allah ki rehmat say hee atay hain.

@@darkrider1839 well, I am from kpk and one of my seniors suggested me to go through ptb once and it was very very helpful. I got 181 in under a month, most of my fellows failed. So I reccomend it to everyone. Actually, many mcqs in my paper were book lines from ptb, nowhere in kpk except physics. Physics was mostly conceptual, others were 80%from ptb.

Do not take gap year , I got 165 still not getting admission . Trust me explore other options and in future u won't regret it .
