Certain topics from the chapters are included according to the syllabus, so do we only learn those certain topics? I’ve heard from a lot of people that almost everytime; mcq’s are out of syllabus so do we get marks for those mcq’s “if” they do come from the “topics” not included in the syllabus. Also I’ve bought the package of “kips” where they give you all the “prep” and “practice” books, are those good enough?

Api is it necessary to make notes while attending a lecture . I actually can focus only either on lecture or on making notes . Can i just write additional info given by the teacher in my book rather than writing on a separate register? I used to write concepts and terminology in my books in my FSC now I'm confused so much

Can you explain the difference between the different mdcats. There is SZABMU, UHS, NUMS and so many boards. Which one to give???

If you're from Punjab board go for UHS Mdcat n if Federal then SZABMU. Basically,just follow your own board n go for mdact accordingly. Moreover, Nums is for the army affiliated medical colleges. Like Foundation Medical college, CMH etc. There is only one public medical college in Pakistan under Nums, Army Medical College Rawalpindi. The rest of them are private, so if you're going for public colleges other than AMC then Nums is not mandatory but you can always give it as a practice exam to get familiar with the Exam Hall environment.
