The zero field point for like sign charges will be between the charges, closer to the smaller charge (and in the middle for equal charges). There is no zero-field point for a pair of equal-magnitude-but-opposite-sign charges. conclusion of given task at 13:10

It's +ve work done. Because electric field lines are always from +ve to -ve (→) And if electron is moving against it (←) it means it is moving towards +ve charge. So electron has -ve charge and it is moving towards +ve charge so they will attract each other and electron will move by itself. So this will be called as +ve work..
