Axolotl definitely do eat gravel. I haven’t watched the whole video yet to be honest, but make sure to keep the water nice and cool for your axolotl. Also keep an eye out to make sure the danios aren’t messing with your axolotl.

@@keelyfontaine2818 I agree with you, definitely on placo's. Minnows are safe for sure, but apparently danios are not? I'm not that experienced so I believe you. Only had guppies and shrimp with my axies. Guppies were no problem towards axies, but require higher temperatures so decided to move them to another tank. Shrimp are totally fine of course :)

Ah ah ah ah... you've got to love Aquascaping! The only way you can say "...last night I was playing around with some wood..." and get away with it unharmed ... Hillarious! You're the best, mate... Keep it "up" Loooooooool Best regards from Portugal

That tank glass is thicc, really digging the VLOG style of videos, way more interesting than the text and music only.

Great job, good Chanel, just some advice and please don’t take this the wrong way. Fish at night time will nip at the Axolotls gills and reduce them to stumps eventually, and also you will witness the Axolotls passing the fine sand as they shit, however they will retain some and over time it will build up and become impacted resulting in death. Been keeping Axolotls for many years, good luck and I really enjoy your channel.

Axolotls eating gravel is not just an internet thing! I rescue axolotls and I have had way to many axies come in with gravel impaction. It makes me so angry when people think things are *only on the internet* when there are many photos of impacted axolotls around. Its not that hard to do some Googling😡

Looks amazing. Just a quick question though won't the elastic bands perish then the packets with the fern roots in burst open?

Perhaps, but the roots would have secured everything by then.

Hi MD, so now along with George from Coral 12g you are my son's favourite (he's 5). He absolutely loves Pancho and loves his name too, says it sounds a bit rock n roll. He's still not quite sure what an axolotl is but he likes it. By the way, having a 5 year old is why I think your kids are brilliant, Henry's little interruptions have me in tears of laughter hahaha!
