We had to CUT our WAY INTO this EXTREMELY OVERGROWN yard

Watch as we tackle an extremely overgrown yard in Houston's Sawyer Yards area. We had to use some serious cutting tools to get this yard back in shape! We ran a couple things over without scag v ride stand on mower, but luckily nothing serious happened. I wonder why you don’t clean all the weeds, vines and trees from the fence…and many times you leave all the branches in a pile. Other than that you do a good job. I just think a full transformation would be excellent.

@@maryjanerod7226they leave a pile because the city will come by once a week or whenever they are called to pick it up. Remember most of the time they are cleaning up abandoned property and more for the neighbors safety. They always leave the property more than a 1000% better than it was.

Another amazing yard transformation, I would guess it took the two of you a couple of days to complete, it is a big project. Looks like it's been a while since they did any cleanup behind the house. It would have been nice to have the homeowner come out and offer refreshments as a gesture for cleaning up their mess. Job well done.

Try adding some Amsoil Quickshot to your chainsaw's fuel tank. Chances are the fuel system is gummed up and the Quickshot will help in that matter. I periodically use Quickshot in my Stihl backpack blower to help clean things out.

Nice to see the backyard go from unusable to usable. Thoughtful to set things aside for sorting. A good show of persistence on the bigger tree branches, with three tries to get it done...machete, chainsaw, axe. An excellent kindness done. The yard is pleasant.

I finally bought a Dewalt battery chainsaw and it works great because I don’t cut a lot, so a battery operated chainsaw is the best way to go, unless you’re a logger! 🤷🏼

Just imagine how many raised bed gardens you can put in that yard. With some beautiful pollinator plants. But first besides removing all the stuff in the yard, getting a tree crew in there to give those trees a haircut you need to gut that house and make it habitable again. To do everything will probably cost what the property is worth but it’s a long term investment that will grow and flourish. Great Videos Thank You 🙏
