Holy Moly! This was incredible! That was a dangerous overgrown jungle, rats, mice, snakes, spiders, raccoons, possums, etc could be living in that mess, thank you for making it safer! That narrow lot must have caused the builder to put the house on the lot sideways. For a while there I thought there was nothing but a garage. Great job on the front! Can't wait to see what you do with the back. God Bless you!

I thought it was just an old garage/shed at first. Didn't realize behind the garage was the house. Wow! That place is a train wreck. I always wonder why homes get totally abandoned like that one. You tackled a severe job. Your machete work does a fast job on seedling trees and I admired your besting the Johnson Grass clumps with a mattock. A lot of people leave them partially cut down, when they can't figure out how to finish them off. You may have missed the idea of Landscape Archeology, working on an overgrown yard and refinding what was originally existing. It is almost startling to see you find a front door, a whole fence line, even the appearance of a house and a walkway...and you are in the front yard. Nice work facing all the overgrowth. Hope to see the video if you also do the back.

AweSome work. Abandoned house. Someone is loosing money on this house. Renter would pat $1500 a month where I live easily. Can't believe the city hasn't contracted maintenance and issued violations multiple times. If I lived next door the city would have called like 50 times to get it cleaned up.

It could be just a city violation or eyesore. So they might have them only do the front for cosmetic appealing to the neighborhood or to resolve neighbor complaint of high grass. Or like you mentioned they may save it for another video

@@irageatf0rt The reason I mention the back yard is that mice, rats, and other pests will be in that mess in the back yard also and are a danger to the neighborhood. Not to mention snakes, etc. Just seems beneficial to clean the entire property.

FYI- Depending on the state that you are working in, sometimes the Backyard is considered PRIVATE PROPERTY whereas the front yard is in open view of the public. No privacy is expected from viewing or work for such abandoned/forgotten properties. If no one is available to give you permission to enter a backyard, then you could be fined for trespassing. I am retired, but I had a rental property clean-up business. Learned from experience.
