every trip should be adventure....nothing dangerous ...just a good adventure. and to have a bull red show up......magnificent! A bucket full of fish, a single bull red, or even an occasional "skunk" it all shows as being a real life fisherman like the rest of us. Its what makes this channel so watchable...keep up the great work....

Great video Mark I have a question I been using 30 lbs braid no leader for a while... I just tried a 15lbs leader Fluorine carbon I did a blood knot and it’s getting stuck on the guide or micro guides.. what type of knot is a good and strong one? Love the videos
@mtzcustomrods29346 жыл бұрын
Give an Alberto knot or FG knot a try, they are slim usually work for guides size 4.5 or bigger
@MDLRFishing6 жыл бұрын
Micro guides definitely pose a challenge. I’m sorry but I don't know any other knots. I’ve tied many of them but they always failed me so I go back to the blood knot.

Thanks for serving our country! You must not be from Texas. One does not say Port Aransas and Corpus Christi in the same sentence. Complete different towns. Also, Don't pronounce the "g"in Refugio.

Definitely a Texan, just not familiar with the area. Give me a little more time time and more school lessons. I’ll look back at these videos and cringe when I see myself get it wrong. Thanks for not being afraid to say what’s up!

First of all great video! Secondly, Here’s the true, genuine and bona fide definition of “Wey”, annunciated Guey, from a genuine and bona fide proud Mexican. Its true and original definition means a Bull without its testicles, used metaphorically or indicating a person who is an idiot or who is ignorant. It’s a shortened derogatory noun or adjective used by Mexicans to signify ignorance. It can be used either way by most Mexjcans today as a slang term in an informal way like What’s up dude or hey buddy? Or used as an slang insult like Look at that @&#$ idiot!!! Personally, I don’t like that word at all. Why, it shows no class and there is nooo way it could mean as buddy. If one is a word for buddy, then there are better words used and substituted for that. To me it’s an offensive word and shows no respect to me when it is addressed. I tell you what, if there was a friend or buddy who would address that word to me, I would personally ask him not to call me that, or simply, he is not nor worthy to be my friend neither! Just NO CLASS in that word at all! Again, this is from a person who grew up around Mexicans who had no respect for you. Hope this helps sir!
@MDLRFishing6 жыл бұрын
Love this!!! Always learning something new, thank you. I always knew it as an insult when being used.
