I would love to come over and feast on your catch and cook segments. Looking great

I know exactly where your fishing and I didn’t know that little channel was 14 ft deep holy cow! The biggest red I’ve ever caught was on a paddle tail lure right where you put in at!

It’s a great spot, especially during winter.

An you do a video how you spool your baitcaster? When i spool mine the line tends to somewhat slip or diggs inwards
@michaelpthompson312 жыл бұрын
You can use a Texas rig with those lures or a weighted EWG hook, grip pin hook and you'll be GTG! Each are used for bass fishing but can excel in inshore scenarios. Love your videos!!

Its my understanding that the large red on the the finder is picking up the air interface in the swim bladder indicating larger fish with larger swim bladders

Super glue the nose of the plastic to the jig head! Easy. Just a drop lasts me all day or until the plastic is wrecked by a toothy fish.

Should use mono backing and throw about 75 yards of braid on top save you some money and you can do 2-3 reels per spool
@MDLRFishing2 жыл бұрын
The Lews Pro SP has a shallow spool 😉 No need to buy mono backing anymore 👍

Hey Mark, you should give a pack of death grip jigheads a try. Ive tested a lot of jigs found I like them the best with golden eye and owner close behind.

Try some knotty hookers or just the plain Norton hooks…. I use the k wiggler with the knotty hookers and they do just fine pretty sure they’d do just fine with that swim bait

Great video Mark. Learned a lot from you. Especially the light set up. Would 12lb copolymer work for inshore fishing?
@MDLRFishing2 жыл бұрын
I don't see why not.

So check it out fellas. I was watching bass fishing last weekend and saw a dude pour Mt dew down the bass' mouth. I was like what the hell? Supposed to stop the bleeding immediately it turns out. Anybody tried it with a trout?

It's a work tool not a showroom product. Water bill is a legit thing to consider when fishing more than the average person. But I get it, would be nice to see a pristine kayak 👍
