BF Avery Model A! The very first Tractor I ever bought is a BF Avery Model A. About 55 years ago at a Estate Auction. Paid $12.50 for it. Engine Stuck from rain in the exhaust. Tore it down and installed new piston rings and a valve job. Hercules engine and the Avery live Hyd thru draft hitch. Raked a lot of hay with that Avery.Pulled a pickup bed trailer hauling firewood also. Our middle son drove it a lot when he was 9 years old. We Still have it. The engine is pickled so it will not get ruined. Hasnt been started in over 30 years. Your yeller version is tempting! However We have 25 tractors. And we only own 23 acres. and 1/2 of that is very steep rock cedar glade. How far is Newton Kansas from Pocahontas Ar? Good luck to ya.

One time a guy had a H farmall. And blew out a back tire . He was raking hay and needed a tire. Holiday weekend. We had a tire mounted on a rim. Marginal tire worn slick & Round and black holding Air. I told him $25. He looked it over and came into the shop and stated that the tire has a boot in it. Our middle son was 12 then. He quipped we wont charge any extra for the boot. The guy bought the tire & rim.
