We all have that speed & fast twitch when we are young usually around 16-28 is when you are in your prime. Once thirty rolls around or surgeries which ever first will eventually slow a person down or they can't jump as high. You see this when Kobe was young and did all those 360 degree dunks compared to when he got over 30 he only dunked when he saw his only chance such as an all-star game. Michael Jordan was the same in the 80's he competed and won the slam dunk contest then ran into the Detroit Bad Boys Juggernaut and changed his game. If you look at his first 3 championships he dunked and elevated like no other person besides Dr. J and championships 4-6 were won on fade away jump shots and dunks every now and then when he also got the chance. I don't know if anyone remembers but that last all-star game michael played in he missed a wide open dunk with no one in sight, so it is true your legs go after only so long just as it is with everything else! So young men keep jumping out of those gyms, that's an order!!!!

That does not apply to modern times nor majority of everyone. If you remain active this does not happen as dramatically. As technology resources/medicine becomes better human life expectancy increases as with health and mobility/strength. Even lebron and most allstar players are as fit/healthier even in their 30's. Through time average human prime age increases with life expectancy. (IF you condition and take care of yourself)
