Hi Neil, Good luck with the channel. You seem like a decent bloke, and I hope you can appreciate my opinions and not see it as trolling, but more constructive criticism. The first mistake to me, was when you got in the car and started driving it, you overlaid some forgettable music, instead of letting us hear the real music, ie that lovely B58 engine. You need a mic matey, if you are recording audio outside, as the wind is almost as loud as your voice. Not sure I learned anything from your video, the M140i unfortunately is such a brilliant car, that everyone and his dog has done a video, some are stunning,so there isn't much room for you to do anything that will get you any views over what others have already done. I have a 2017 M140i myself, completely standard apart from a remap, I absolutely love it, and there is nothing else around I want to replace it with (maybe a 911 GT2 RS lol). The question you have to ask yourself is : what do you want from the car ? If you go down the modify route, yes you can turn it into an absolute missile, and a track weapon. The things which 'let the M140i down' as a pure performance car, can all be rectified. The obvious limited slip diff will address the traction issue, underbody bracing to stiffen the feel, M4 control arms and tensioner struts to get a bit more camber on the front to improve handling, spacers and wider tyre's to improve grip, decent springs & shock absorbers will improve the handling no end, lightweight wheels to reduce rolling mass, and a remap or even stage 2 with decat etc can gain you silly amounts of power. But, it will ruin it as a daily driver. Unless you get a second car for daily duties and just use the M140i as a weekend car / track toy, you will regret spending another 8 grand + because it will be much worse to drive around town. The whole point of the M140i is a jack of all trades, not quite master of one. It's the best car which balances every aspect of driving. A superb comfortable cruiser which can turn into a real handful of fun when needed. I look forward to your decision matey, Regards...
