I always look forward to watching your budget challenges. It is interesting to see what you come up with. I also like beetroot on my burgers and pineapple on my pizza. I also make curry with apples/pears instead of potatoes, and sometimes pineapple pieces instead of raisins. I often swap out milk for water in recipes as well. I think the potato bake and the tuna casserole you made looked really good, and I also liked the traditional Swedish comfort food. The mini meatloaves also looked very good. 😀

Hi from Chilliwack Canada Years ago with a first visit to Australia we had beets on our burgers. At the time I thought it weird but it was so tasty. Try to remember each time I have a burger now😊

If you swap the vinegar with a spoon of mustard, it will have the same effect but be more creamy and less watery dressing.

Never ever heard of putting beet roots on burgers but I'm not going to knock it. I'm from southern California in the U.S.A. specifically El Cajon, in San Diego east county Thank you for sharing, I love learning what other people like to eat and even more so there cheap cost but tasty meals ❤
