Argurin is a very good player and I think most players who play the jungle role respect him also. Tarz is also a very good player and people should respect him as such. They are some of the few really amazing western junglers we have who stream it. So its really cool to see them talk about the game!

For me the key takeaway of this video is that Tarzened and Agurin aren't divided by "proactive" and "reactive" jungling playstyles. Most of their different opinions on pathing are based on minimally different understandings of what the results of the decisions would be. 9/10 of their differences when they listened to what the other one said they either agreed or said "are you sure that would happen?" they never said "I think that's too reactive" or "I'm not comfortable and would prefer to react to what others are doing". If anything, I would say the main difference in their playstyles is champion pool. EDIT: In fact at the end, Agurin said to make the play that he believed was correct, and Tarzaned told him to react off his team mates. Sounds pretty reactive playstyle to me. Tarzaned is a reactive jungler confirmed.

Hard agree, i absolutely do not understand how Briar's winrate is so low. Also, since W CD starts on first cast, with Shojin, if you W right at the end of your W, you can WW again almost instantly if that makes sense, getting two execute/healing autos in quick succession.

Its not about being at your own chickens fast enough. Almost every champ can be at chickens at 4:00 mins after resetting and buying one item. Its about the enemy jgl, who resetted after 6 camps, bought 2 small item components, then walks to your raptors, and beats you with stats because they have 700 gold spent and you only spent 350. I saw this at Agurins stream multiple times: he full clears (no crab), spents 700g, walks to enemy raptors and takes them, while his own camps are waiting to respawn. You give the enemy Jungler an opportunity to spent more efficient time on the map and put yourself in a scenario where you cannot contest own raptors 1 v 1. Basically this strat means both junglers will have desynced recalls and different timers where they can punish each other. With the downside that enemy jgl will have first timer to punish. If they dont and you can reverse full clear, youll be on dragon with 1k spent, while enemy must choose between farming respawning camps or contesting you at dragon with less gold. Its a back and forth, where both sides have arguments why each strat is better. For me Agurins strat seems more controllable and stable, and you are not reliant on the enemy to not invade you at respawning raptors. I tried both strats multiple times in EUW Diamond, and so far I can tell that I like Agurins strat more. Oftentimes I was ganking bot after reset before farming my blue camps. Even when I got a kill it was not worth because: my red side camps respawn faster than I can clear my blue side, and my enemy can take them now, while his camps were on cd for respawn. I was suddenly a lvl down, although I made a good gank. When you gank after full clear, or even after resetted full clear, there is nothing enemy jgl can take away from you in return, so its a very good play. imo this rap-red-crugs route is only good when you want MUST impact the sidelanes b4 enemy jgl. Youll be there surprisingly early, and you dont show your starting location.
