Ah, the young beautiful Olivia! If I could go back and time, I wouldn’t change a thing, except I would have demanded that my dad stop for the night with our VW bus full of our family and grandparents, so I could have attended her concert in Portugal back in 71-72 when I was seven or eight. We stopped at a light and I saw the marquee of this small club she was playing the following night. I had no vote, probably wouldn’t have been even able to get in, but she was already my favorite singer, and I was already smitten by her. Wish I could have seen and heard a young Olivia live back then.
