Its better to reference things rather than trace them, hands are very difficult and someday you just won't find the correct image to trace. so its better to just reference, also you get better at the perspective.

​@@zoinkysploinks well I do both online I trace since I rather do ppl on Ibis Paint since I have limited art supplies at home but I also do perspective on paper and sometimes digitally but mostly on paper u can do anything to make the process easier and for u to have fun, but I see where u getting at, but long story short just find a way to balance it both tracing for fun drawings or to help u AND use references to also learn and practice or whatever lol :D
