Nanna magalu, govt seat MBBS aadaru, internship alli 48 hours duty, 3 hrs gap, ide bangalore alli, innu neevu helida haage pg neet very very tough, konegu 1 yr continues study, again govt seat sikkithu. Exactly after 3 months covid time, magalige corona banthu. North india, central institution, 45 degree summer, my thumba, plastic seat, mouth coverd, continues treatment in central government hospital, 4 day work, without, break, even no time to go wash room. Then again seeing her after 4 days, in 2021, 2022 also. Almost died.we parents see only face, come sleep, no food, stress stress Stress, my daughter dedicated to treat, now doing DM, morning 6 0 clock go ward, come in midnight 1 o clock, in between we dont know what they eat or not, again, on call duty. Now we / dedicated my daughter, suggest dont go for medical. We parents are in pain.. as u said in society respect only. No income. Please sorry to tell experience

But nurses work in shifts.night duty is from 8 pm to 8 am..pg doctors have 36 hours. By the time a doctor become super specialist it will take 12 years after puc...leave alone the cost and effort

Very well explained ! Very detailed explanation after complete research, taking back stipend in private medical college is 100 % true , they put stipend every month to bank account and take back in cash either before giving "no due" while submitting thesis or every month, different private colleges have their own mechanism ... After completing PG There is now compulsory govt service for which payment is 70000 per month , your original documents will not be released till u give affidavit that u will do service and counselling to get place posting to do service will be done after so many months by govt , 2 years back it was done after 4 months after pg completion. Dr's who passed pg in Sept 2023 in karnataka , govt is doing counselling now after 11 months in 2024 .

Thank you sir for covering this issue. Would like to clarify a few things. I would beg to differ with your opinion that doctors charge more money because they spent more to study. The cost of medical care is significantly higher. Being a doctor myself and from middle class family, we find it not affordable. It is not the doctor fee that is costly. It is actually the consumables, medicines, machines used for investigations, instruments used to perform surgery which are costly. We prefer to use the best instruments with the sole reason to give best results to the patients, which comes with a cost. Despite all this, we Indians should realize that health care is easily accessible (People in West wait for months to get an appointment with a specialist, where as in India it hardly takes few days or the same day we can consult a specialist) and less costlier in India compared to other countries. It can be made affordable to all, if government takes up health as its responsibility
