After living on Miami Beach for many years, I now live in a great little town called Weston, about 10 miles from both Fort Lauderdale and Miami . I get the car thing, I have a vintage Alfa Romeo Spider named Sophia. We visit Beaulieu for a week or two every summer. Cheers

Merry Christmas, Tim and Richard, and thanks for the shout out on my suggestion for the name of your new pride and joy. I think Elton is a great choice. Regarding your upcoming tour, because you are such a keen sociocultural anthropologist, Tim, you really should check out the Chateau de La Napoule (a.k.a. Clews Castle) in Mandelieu-la-Napoule. Henry Clews is no relation to me as far as I have been able to determine, though we share an uncommon surname and both his ancestors and mine are from the Staffordshire Potteries. Henry has a very interesting life story, which you should research, if you haven't already. But the three towers: a 4th century Roman tower, an 11th century Saracen Tower, and the 20th century tower built by Henry that houses he and his second wife Marie's tomb alone are worth the visit. And then there is the restored Chateau, the beautiful gardens, and Henry's extraterrestrial and sometimes phalic sculptures.
