Y’all slow and only listening to one side. If u know me u know I’m genuine and I’m not materialistic at all. I stated that’s how I show I care about someone cause I didn’t grow up getting affection my mom showed she cared thru taking care of us. So I show my love Thru “ACTS OF SERVICE” meaning buying gifts, making sure they’re straight, getting them whatever they want etc. ITS A DIFFERENCE! And also I lacked in affection because of my career and being busy. I still gave it just not as much as she felt she needed Which I admitted just like she admitted to having insecurities and accusing me of cheating even though I let her go thru my phone everytime to prove it and everything. That was also a big fall of our relationship as well Not just me not being affectionate. Y’all ALWAYS want it to be the man fault and in this situation IT WASNT! And how am I not listening and I’m literally sayin yeah I feel u and I take fault in that? If y’all don’t go text and take that shit out on y’all own niggas and not me cause this situation is not the same as what y’all goin thru I promise u. I’m a REAL MAN I was takin care of home being a provider in the best way I knew how and how I was raised. And I let her chill and I took care of EVERYTHING! She ain’t have to lift a finger if she ain’t want to. I even showed her how to hustle and get money on her own. I lacked in other areas I’m not perfect but don’t run with that narrative that I’m a narcissist, self absorbed,and dont listen when she clearly said I knew how to listen and I’m a great listener and knew how to put up with her and understand her. fr that’s lame listen to both sides cause y’all ain’t speaking on nothin she admitted only what I admitted to. DONT BE ONE SIDED! We both admitted our wrongs y’all just hearing what y’all want and comparing it to what y’all goin thru.

Her love language is quality time and yours is gifts. Well you like to show love through gifts and probably acts of service and she prefers to receive love with quality time and likely words of affirmation. So the moral of the story is we have to learn how our partners like to receive love and try to compromise a little in order to be on the same page and vice versa. This will help to improve communication within the relationship and make for a stronger union.

That was a great conversation by the way; I think some people are missing the point of this discussion. The whole thing is they were young and they did not have the foundation to make the relationship work. They moved in together way too fast. As a young woman being 17 years old, Senia did not have the tool to be emotionally intelligent. And Trey was showing his love to her by taking care of the household and gifting her; basically thinking she would be appreciative of doing what a grown man is supposed to do. I think what Senia really wanted the most is to spend some quality time with him. By Trey showing her his phone he thought that would make her feel secure. Anyways I think they were both too young to understand what they needed from one another. With that being said I think it’s wise for young people to take their time to learn each other and setting boundaries before getting too deep in relationships. It would be even better to get married before having children . I don’t think anyone is to blame for the relationship not working out. They have grown up; hopefully in the future they are better prepared to handle tough situations and have the tools to navigate certain obstacles in a relationship.

My husband works and told me to stay home with the kids n get the house together n whatever i wanna do ill do as in my own business or home job. We was 16 so I understand both sides. I use to be like ugh I need you here with me but as women we have to understand men roles n our roles. Yall are leaders period n soon as yall stop is a problem too. I can understand both POVs. Trey was working to not only secure their future, but his family's too. Also, he didn't like constantly being falsely accused. Senia wanted romance and reassurance, but those bills don't pay themselves. Money didn't matter as much to her, but Trey refused to go back to not having enough of it. That's why it's important to build with someone with similar values. Glad they're friends now.

She’s not saying he’s not supposed to work. But you always make time for partner it’s called compromise. If you can’t work and find time for your partner then you shouldn’t be in a relationship.
@traceygrant33867 ай бұрын
Trey talks to much communication ain’t about just talking it’s about listening and understanding and comprehending. Men don’t understand women need you to listen and they need physical and emotional affection. There’s many people that work alot that find time for their partner. You always find time for what you want. If you can’t make time for a relationship then be single. That’s the problem with Armon he so into his work he doesn’t know how to be in a relationship Don’t waist people time.

If she wants a man there every day, then date a regular 9 to 5 guy that can provide that for you. Unfortunately she not gonna do that because she likes a certain type of guy. Yes he does need to work on how to balance things, but women demand so much but give so little. That man is providing and protecting his if she couldn't understand that, then so be it.

Don’t say women don’t bring anything when there’s alot of women that brings more than some men. They were both young and trey didn’t know how balance his his relationship and career. Most men get caught up in only providing financially. You have to make time to balance physically, emotionally, mentally, & spiritually while in a relationship. Money isn’t everything & a woman who desires true love will never be happy in a relationship where money is the only priority.

Let’s be for real. How many men in our community are providers these days? A man like Trey is a rare breed. Don’t get me wrong he has his flaws but he was taking care of his family like he was a husband. Senia did not make it any better by constantly accusing him of cheating when he wasn’t. They got too deep in a relationships way too fast. Honestly Trey would have been better single pursuing his career knowing he wouldn’t have the time for a girl like Senia. And yes I do think Senia was low key entertaining other people while still living with Trey. You can’t still be talking to other guys and having sex with your baby daddy for you to think it’s ok. She was wrong so wrong for that!

My man’s biggest fear is being broke again too.. he don’t ever want to feel that feeling again. Men battle with their own struggles like keeping the home safe and secure and the kids and their women.. it might be hard to juggle that with family but eventually they learn. My man did! We have family days and go on dates just us and it really means a lot. Maybe they’ll be able to get back together now that they grew from where they were & they can live just them as a family bc I’m sure a group of ppl in a home wasn’t good for them especially either a new born baby.
