I've always loved Eminem. His story telling in his rhymes, his smooth sound with the emotion, RAW emotion thrown into every song. He wasn't just throwing stuff together to be violent and make threats (not all the time at least haha) and Tupac can't be doubted. Of course classic "rap" R&B or whatever you want to call it is still influencing music today. Cryps originals remind me a lot of the classics.
