I was about 9 years old when this first aired but my home city of Manchester was already becoming the focal point for what would soon become acid house and rave and was so taken in by the music by the time I reached the tender age of 11 and by the time I reached 13 in August 1992 there was no turning back as breakbeat and hardcore was getting massive play on the illegal airwaves and The Prodigy, SL2 and Liquid etc were a huge influence on me!
