Been a fan since Plantation Lullabies. She is by far the most underrated artist out here. Her more recent work is more abstract after leaving Maverick Records (Madonna's label), but she's still incredible, and oh yeah, she from the DMV.

Me'Shell NdegeOcello: This is my favorite song by her! She performed in Virginia about 10 years ago! I have relatives there and her show was first rate! I was visiting Arlington, Virginia in the summer and she and her band were the best quality😄!
