It's crazy how different Canadian Minisos can be. I have not seen most of the items shown in the video at my Miniso (other than the Sanrio plug-in earbuds, hand cream, lip balm, & some of the blind boxes). I'm so jealous of your Miniso, it looks a lot more stocked up on Sanrio items. Also, the average Sanrio blind box at my Miniso is $16-18. They are so expensive even tho Miniso is supposed to be a cheaper alternative for blind boxes 😭😭

This Miniso is brand new, all the ones we had before didn't look like this. We didn't even have blind boxes until late Summer so hopefully yours will change with time! Also the price increases are getting out of hand, smh 😿😭

Wow your Miniso has so much more Sanrio than mine! The one where I live only carries Miniso branded items, and most of the plushies are their original characters

Our Miniso was like that too until the Summer! I guess we lucked out getting a new store right aftrt their big Sanrio collab happened.

I think you did a much better job than the original lucky bags :) I'm saddened that they would sell bags like this claiming they are valued at so much more than they really are; and that you didn't get some blind boxes, or plushies as I recall. Another reason why I just get my own, and I normally wouldn't get anything but blind boxes, or confirmed ones, if most of the figures weren't ones I would want. It reminds me of subscription boxes. I've watched many many subscription box openings here on KZbin, and over about a five year timeframe, I have rarely been pleased with any of the ones I've seen. They all seem to be filled with very cheap things that, at least, I myself, wouldn't want. They are rarely worth what you have to pay to purchase them :(

They are so similar to subscription boxes! I totally agree with your points! Sometimes I see the fun in it but I rarely if ever am pleased with what I got. I'm buying more and more confirmed figures these days!

My miniso (Burnaby, BC) has been steadily increasing their prices on their blind boxes for the last few months, so I think the prices are comparable to your store now.

I don't think they can give you a beauty item because they're trying to get rid of older things that aren't selling well and beauty products expire.

Your lucky bag was way better! I guess I understand that the point of lucky bags is to get rid of products that aren't very popular, but I don't understand at least including a few things people would want so they at least do sell.

Yes your lucky bag is better, BUT, lucky bags are store can sell off old or over stocked products.

The funny thing is most of the items in the Lucky Bag were brand new! They didn't even stock them until 2024 and I saw them on shelves for the first time when I went to film! And they gave me a product this store doesn't even stock cos it's a fake Miniso product 😵‍💫 so while that might hold true for other lucky bags. It doesn't for this one!
