The most effective way to bring people to Jesus is by looking around us at the relationships we have (family, friends, acquaintances, even strangers we meet) and showing why this is so important: living out our faith, being salt and light, and in the words of Francis of Assisi "Preach the Gospel at all times and if necessary use words". If people see that we live differently, then that is the most effective way to help people believe. God bless you and whoever else reads this comment

My mom and dad are both 80, ( a few months apart), they both are still doing good, my dad still works full time and my mom keeps her home clean and does gardening, spends time with her friends and still drives two hours by herself to visit family. They both tell me and my siblings they don’t need help.. just yet. But we’ll be there for them.

Parents are a blessing in our lives, and as they have done in our upbringing and care, we have to be grateful, treat them better, spend more time with them, live with them, or at least near them, because when they grow up, they need us most and we have a duty to give back because no matter what we do, we won't repay even a shred of what they did for us. 1:27 Apparently my grandfather did something like this. He saw a glass with apple juice and asked my dad if it was his glass, my father said no. Then, when my father looked at the glass he thought it was a strange glass, and before he could stop my grandfather, he gulped some of it down and began cursing and whatnot. The glass with "apple juice" had been a vase with stale water from flowers. My grandfather had always been smoking and stuff, and couldn't smell it. But in the end he could still taste it :)
