Me262 FPV lens focus test flight

Test flight to evaluate a slightly adjusted focal length on the FPV camera lens. Slightly softening the outside world view, slightly improving focus on the cockpit interior. I was happy with the compromise.
Sadly not so pleased with the aircraft performance. Since adding the FPV gear it has had 3 flights. First one failed to gain adequate take off speed and tip stalled almost the second it was airborne. Took the nose off. After being restored over winter the 1st attempt this year was almost as bad but at least I was able to save it from a near-stall again on take off. After that flight last week, I added fixed half flap to add some lift on take off and tried again with this flight. It was just the same , dropped the right wing severely on lift off and nearly lost it. I won't fly it again without increasing the available power significantly.

The focus seems well balanced between cockpit and horizon. Another great cockpit as well! The original Jumo engines were probably abit weak and unreliable so it probably adds to realism of the 262 😂 Good landing!

That looks really good, cockpit focus is nice. I have the Dynam 262 and have converted it to 6s, much better and quieter oh and faster 🤓

Good thing you’re ”in cockpit” when something like this happen, could be out of sight?

I personally think, you need to get the cam further away from the instruments. Probably only possible on a larger airframe. But hey, now you have an excuse to buy yourself a bigger plane ;)
