I always ran with the Kishock Harpoon Gun with the Batarian Sentinel, it was so much fun.

I used this yesterday at level 8 with a Reager on Gold. I know you know that I know, but I'm telling you here anyway. It's pretty freakin' sweet.

shock wave has a quicker recharge. if you throw wave, youll cause a dodge move, then drop a net on em. i dont use blade armor at all, it slows your recharge time for little benefit unless you max it out with recharge speed.. normally, i run the scorpion, eagle or executioner with power amp or the reegar. max out net for AOE, max wave for reach, run the geth scanner. step out and net, then spam wave through walls. executioner through the wall with piercing mod. then net is great for crowd control especially for a struggling team. wave (when its not down due to the round you're in) is the best for holding enemies at range during hacks and what not. just my thoughts (even though the vid is now 3 years old, we still watch em) =)

+rowdy hansen Shockwave has a longer recharge speed than SN; and the 30% DR from BA is not a "little benefit", especially since it only adds half a second to your cool-down time with the right load-out. I recommend the Executioner now as well, but attaching the Power Magnifier is a poor choice due to the little power damage this character actually has. Stacking up on piercing can and will do great things for your weapon damage.

I use the Arc Pistol with him, and I find it more efficient than the Talon since it has more ammo capacity, and damage output's insane with the heavy barrel. Of course, the Submission Net being assigned to the right side of the pad makes charging shots, moving, aiming and using power at the same time a little more complicated, but we have 10 fingers, so we may as well make full use of them. I also use the Melee Stunner sometimes, just for the pleasure of cracking some heads from time to time. Nice build you give us there Bwnci.

I actually play him as a Batarian Whaler. I skip shockwave, and just go full fitness, and DR in blade armor, go for weapon damage in passives, and build submission net the same way you do. Then I put the Kishock on him, and just go to town with him. Net->Kishock->Awesome. I do regret not taking headshot damage though, ever since I watched Harpawnage.

Kishock would fit better to a long-range approach, and would be of better use with the Vorcha Engineer, since it has lower health/shields. Despite having Regenaration, being ambushed by a group will result in quick death. The Kishock will ensure high damage firepower without risking yourself in the crowd. The Batarian Sentinel will be a beast if equipped with the Arc Pistol; more power/shots than the Talon, and the recharge speed will be lightning-quick ensuring you never get yourself out of game for long.

I guess Shockwave is still bugged for pc users: Take FORCE & DAMAGE at rank 4 and NOT Radius.

The only issue I find with this class is that it is useless against Reapers and not ideal against collectors. They like to throw bosses, bosses and more bosses at you and I just can't seem to do anything against them with this. Geth or Cerberus however, this guy is awesome.

Against armour you need to rely on good weapon damage or Incendiary Rounds. The DOT from Submission Net will also stack.

Was lucky enough to play with a Turian Soldier and between My Sub Net and his proxy mines we were melting the reapers...

wow so this batarian is basically a power class. Like a big tanky asari. Just that tech bursts aren't as strong as biotic ones. Hope i can unlock one soon *rolls eyes at RNG*

I'd roll with you, but I'm way beyond that at this point... But yeah, all Batarians (save for the Vanguard, who does the Vanguard thing) are really good power kits.

I thought I was best with the Bat Soldier and I play him kind of mixed. He's the only class I have that let have my heavy Cerb Harrier 2 so I can't spam the blades as often. I can try a lighter AR but I need that Assault Pckg item since my (+ grenades) equipment is only at +2 Mind you before christmas I hadn't played this game for about 8 months so I can't be as pissed with the RNG as I'd like

***** The Soldier is the best and the Harrier's damn good on him, because of his spare ammo bonuses and Blade stunning.
