After trying for literally a month, I managed finally reach the perpetual point just now. I used the F14T with upgrades 3323232 / PR 119.2, and I managed to reach just below 100km. It was, as you mentioned, VERY difficult to keep the timer up. I damaged the car before i reached the perpetual point, and I thought it was game over. Usually I get to like 17 miles, and run out of time just before I reach the perpetual point. I literally see it on the map and run out. But this time, As soon as I saw the perpetual point and noticed that I still had 55 seconds on the timer, I knew I'd make it. Initially, I managed to raise the timer, up to a peak of about 80 seconds, but as I got more tired from the constant high-intensity racing, It started to drift down, and for the second half of the race the timer was pretty much constantly below 20, and very frequently would be below 1 SECOND as i crossed the line. I finally messed up enough to run out at 57.8 miles. Annoyingly, I didn't hire the manager or anything as I didn't think I'd make it.

That is super impressive! I found the F-14 more difficult to drive and I was fully upgraded! It is a good card to fully upgrade, exclusive series, and all that.

Btw as I only have the F14-T, I practice it and after a few tries I refilled the timer at around 75KM, but I often at 15KM (like you) have some silly mistakes for some reason 😅 Also I learnt this race from Naomi's video (Sunnyboy found it first but Naomi uploaded the video first) But when ME7 uploads, it'll get more views so more people will know this race. :) And as always thanks for the video, awesome voice! 👍

for me it makes more sense to use the F14 T, as you already need to make upgrades to compete in it career series (besides that using the upgrades 3323232 already provides you with the necessary performance to reach the perpetual point), that is, instead of spend more on two different cars, it's better to focus on a single car and end up saving GP

On tracks with walls such as this, Berlin, New York etc I always find it extremely difficult to judge the steering manoeuvrability in chase camera. However when I switch to Cockpit or Bonnet Cam, depending upon the car, I feel much better and my steering will be a lot more precise. May be you can try that with the F-14T and check if it helps you drive that car better.

a small note to the motorfiesta 1.i remember the last race being very hard because it was a 10 lap race @monza where you werent allowed to go off track or to take any damage either..for a beginner not the easiest task, especially if youre not aware of any botslowing strats and not used to the backmarkers akward ways to get out of the way..but the payment was pretty good :D so if you failed the goal but won the race you could farm fame ^^

I personally didn't find it difficult (it was even simple), because the most important thing is to know how to move quickly to the first positions right at the end of the second corner (since when I started playing motorfiesta 1 I had very little contact with the track of monza and had never driven cars with that different physics), which will probably be something you'll learn as you go through the series (at least for me it was like that)

I think narrow is the right word for the F14T. And the sound difference is the V12 of the 1995 412T2 vs the Turbo Hybrid V6 of the F14T with the new 2014 F1 regulations.

If you still confused, the older f1 cars (Old Ferrari F1 cars (including the Ferrari front engine f1 car, i forgot the name), Lotus F1 car, and Mclaren F1 cars) have higher steering sensitivity, even though you have lower steering sensitivity. For example, your steering sensitivity is at 2, but you drive it feels like at 5 or more. I have tried it and it feels so sensitive / over assisted.

The problem for the McLaren MP4-X is the sheer acceleration it has, the grip is absolutely insane The F14T(FIAT) I see what Ferrari did there, this car is famous for understeering and oversteering literally at the same time

Off topic. But this video reminded me of bc Ferrari f14. Did you know that you can play exclusive series without having your car maxed out? I used to have Ferrari f14 maxed out years ago and played the exclusive series a bit. Then I don't remember exactly when, I stopped playing for a while and FM added exhaust upgrades, so I lost max upgrade. But I can still access exclusive series from the "new" series finder button in the garage

Actually the Le Mans race is about 500 more fame per minute in the MP4-X. But this is officially the second highest paying race in the game. 😎👍

@@chachulut Oh oh, that doesn’t work! You see, fame pay varies by what place you finish in. So you get a lot more fame for 1st place than you do for 8th place or even 2nd place. So if 1 km is 5th place you get more fame than if it was 8th. You have to always finish in first place to get maximum pay. That’s why it’s often beneficial to go off-line before you enter a race so the targets are small. Best place for accurate information is at the following website. i remember starting the game just when these cars were new :D it made me smile cause the said they were memorable Ferrari F1 cars because the '95 412T2 and the 2014 F14T were some of the worst F1 cars ever built by Ferrari :D dont get me wrong the sound of the 412T2 is a sound to die for (as iconic as the 787B) but it was so damn unreliable and the f14t is pretty much just a sh*tbox. There is a clip somewhere in the ytverse from Fernando Alonso driving this car @ Abu Dhabi in the last sector and the car was all over it..incredible.

I would say no because it’s too slow… but I’m actually not sure. I tried it in the past and failed, but with this car you have to approach the race brand new. That means you have to try multiple corners full throttle to see if it’s possible, try different ways through the corners to see if it’s possible. The fame pay isn’t very good but it might be a fun option. I’ll give it some more tries and if it’s possible I’ll do a video.

That should happen at tier 13. From my experience, the showcase discount happens when you reach the tier focussing on that specific car. Now it’s been years since I was offered a showcase discount but things shouldn’t have changed.

Newbie question: So, sometimes (in endurance) you just drive as fast as possible, constantly over-filling the timer, but at other times you carefully avoid overfilling the timer. What conditions determine this?

It will depend on the track and the car. For instance, it’s very unusual that you could do this at Melbourne. Only a handful of cars in the entire game can do this and there’s various reasons for that. One of them is how the bots are driving the cars the 412 T2 is so fast yet the bots do a horrible job driving it in certain corners. As a complete contrast, almost every single version of Porsche short track can be run this way. However, there you have to take some off track cuts and have to drive it very differently than how the bots drive it. Silverstone GP circuit is also a pretty popular one, although more so far, fast cars with decent grip. Then there’s a track like Mount panorama that up until very recently, I believed was impossible. I put out the first two videos ever showing an endless endurance race there. Incredibly difficult to pull off with a huge amount of skill and unusual racing techniques needed. I just ran this race today and some wierd glitch occurred At around 10 kms only I saw the perpetual point! And my car was too slow (only R$ upgrades) and some of the bots started appearing from behind me! I slowed down and let them overtake me, then again overtook them to gain time

Perpetual point shouldn’t be that early. You start encountering the F14T’s at that point, so the traffic gets busy for about two laps. But that glitch you’re talking about is really interesting. It’s usually a super rare glitch but I’m hearing from a few people they have it happen during this race. That would certainly help to make the race easier. Maybe the glitch was so messed up that you did hit the perpetual point that early! I’ve had that glitch at multiple tracks but I’ve probably only had it about 10 times in all my racing days.

With the 2019 cars there is no principal and there is no driver to upgrade. You have to pay close to M$ 7 million to max out the car but they are actually more enjoyable to drive. No gold costs! It’s best to fully upgrade because the Invitational race pays over 3X the fame compared to the Champion series. My first couple of tries it was impossible and I just thought people were hacking. But then I saw legit people doing it and I dialled it in a bit more. The biggest problem is getting used to how to drive these cars. It’s a different approach. It’s quite rewarding once you get the hang of it and it can actually help you in handling other cars in the game.

At Silverstone?? That ones not too bad but you certainly can’t afford a lot of mistakes. I just went and gave it a try, never tried that one endless in the past. There was a glitch that used to make it impossible. I was doing good until I had a couple of sloppy laps and then a very bad crash. My old favourite was the Indianapolis motor speedway in McLaren Generations. but that stopped working back in update 6.3.

its basically a box around your player model/car used for collision, like crashing into a wall

It’s how close you can get to the other car before you actually have contact. With some cars it happens as soon as you touch tires. With the Volkswagen ID.R it happens slightly before you actually touch tires. With these Ferraris it only happens when your tires contact the other cars body. Your tires can completely go through their tires.

Yes. That’s possible in many cars. It’s actually easier than it used to be because an old glitch just somehow got fixed all by itself. The game no longer crashes when you pass too many cars off track.
