after doing a Lamborne Hold for 35 min due to High cross winds 45+ knots
safely Landed Runway 27L the pilots told me after we landed that the exact wind reading while we were on finals + touch down
170/58 kts at 2000 ft reduces to 160/36 kts at 500 ft at touchdown it was around 28 kts full cross

I landed at 6amish on the 1st of Jan 2014 (same day as you I think) and didn't experience that kind of wind - I felt a bit of crabbing after touchdown but nothing this bad...
