we got the broken sub glued back together but it is a little scratchy on the coil...probably a bad alignment job on our part haha! I think it still works though and I do want to build a little box. Even if I gotta buy another one of these :D

I love that you picked these up just knowing your vast knowledge on audio equipment I liked seeing someone like you mess with some fun stuff like these tiny subs. Definitely sent that puppy pretty good but it was pretty enjoyable to watch. Glad you were probably able to recover that one sub since it didn't seem too bad. I'd definitely want to see you build a box for these and test them again to see what their max potential is. 👍

that's funny. I have a pair of these also they can handle more than 10 watts for sure I run 100 each to mine all day I had no problems. I think the mounting ring holds down the surround maybe not sure though looks like you got a bad glue job seeing the spider and all come off so clean.
